2023....

One year has passed since the inception of The Gateway-In Project^©, and we are now halfway through year 2. Let's take a look at some exciting statistics* :

• The Gateway-In Project© has been running for a remarkable 553 days (and counting)!
• We received an overwhelming response of 5,512 applicants. 
• Out of those, we have accepted 2,061 individuals into our program.
• We are proud to announce that 1,460 students have successfully graduated from The Gateway-In Project^©.
• This accomplishment has been achieved through 207 graduating classes taking place in 33 counties all across California. 
• Currently, we have 77 active students who are making great strides in their educational journey.

LeadingAge California has also received funding for two new grants that will fall under the umbrella of The Gateway-In Project^©, which will enable us to expand our initiatives further and extend our reach in aiding the workforce shortage. These grants include The Gateway-In Project^© Health Care Social Worker and The Gateway-In Project^© Expansion, be sure to click on the new grant names to learn more about them! 

Looking ahead, we have some exciting events lined up for the upcoming year:

• You can find The Gateway-In Project^© team at the Hmong New Year celebrations in Fresno, CA, from December 28 to 31.
• We will be hosting opportunities for Continuing Education Units (CEU's) via Dementia Care and Alzheimer's Awareness webinars throughout 2024, so keep an eye on your emails and be ready to block off your calendars for those enriching CEU's.
• In the spring of 2024, we will host another Career Fair in Northern California. Keep an eye out for that date to be announced! 
• Save the date for the BOLD Annual Conference & Expo, organized by LeadingAge California, from May 13 to 15, 2024, in Anaheim, CA. Let us know if you are interested in attending!
